Craig's cluster headache story

Craig had his first cluster headache cycle in 2013. At the time he did not know what was happening, only that the attacks were severe, repeated and always behind the same eye. The cycles had a serious effect on his mental health and by 2015 he was looking for anything that might help.

In 2015 Craig found Pete Batcheller's Vitamin D3 Anti-Inflammatory Regimen through the cluster headache community. He was sceptical, started it anyway, and his cycle broke eight days later. A later cycle responded again, and by 2017 he had moved to year-round maintenance. Since then he has missed many cycles and has had only two mild cycles.

Craig's full story is published on the Vitamin D3 Regimen website, including his own timeline, New Zealand resources, oxygen therapy notes and community links.

A note on the vitamin D3 regimen

This is Craig's personal experience. The vitamin D3 regimen is a community-shared approach, not an established medical treatment - talk to your doctor before starting any supplement, and keep using proven acute and preventive treatments.
